Whitewater raft through pristine jungles. Bathe in natural hot water springs. Slide through a canopy of trees on a high on a high wire. Visit coffee plantations, where some of the finest coffee in the world is grown. Sunbathe on a beach of black volcanic or powdery white sand. Watch a nighttime volcano put on a fireworks display of ruby-red hot lava. Hide on a darkened beach to watch giant turtles as they dig nests and lay their eggs. Climb to the top of a high volcano and look down into its crater filled with a pea green lake. Visit one of the many butterfly farms. Swim, snorkel, hike, bike, camp, eat, sleep, read a book – do whatever you want. Costa Rica offers a smorgasbord of pastimes for your pleasure.

Costa Rica´s spots
Poas Volcano	A long, panoramic, twisting road wends its way through fertile farmland  and forests stands, leading up the mountainside to the Poas Volcano. Its crater, filled with turquoise water, is over a mile across and is dais to be the second-largest active volcano crater volcano in the world.Ocasionally , the crater still boils and shoots steam geysers. Poas Volcano is situated in a protected national park of the same name that offers visitors and information center, a colorful slide show about the volcano, and is the starting point for several well-market trails around the moonscape crater´s rim.
Corcovado National Park	Corcovado national park is the largest tract of virgin rain forest in Costa Rica and covers more than half of the Osa Peninsula. Famous for its scarlet macaws and a multitude of other wildlife, it is coloful must -see for adventure naturalists.
Cahuita & Puerto Viejo	The Southern beach town of Cahuhita is laid back and friendly, a place to rest and rejuvenate during the day - and the hot spot of dancing at night. It contains 2 inviting beaches, one white and one black. Cahuita National Park offers it all camping, bikin, hiking, snorkeling, and more - and is guarded from the treetops by vociferous howler monkeys. Travel farther south to Puerto Viejo to find yet another invinting small beach town with an even more relaxed beat. With a large selection of accomodations and eateries, it males a good base cover the whole coast downto to the Panamanian border. Worth all time that you can afford.
Arenal Volcano	Famous for its nighttime lava fireworks, Arenal Volcano towers above a lovely lake of the same name. The area has plenty of natural activities, eco-adventures, rural-adventures, and the lake is particularly popular with fishermen and windsurfers. The Thermal springs at nearby Tabacon Resort offer a refreshing dip any time of the day. The Volcano itself rumbles frequently and, if not socked in by clouds, is very impressive - and just a tad exciting. We recommend Casona Rio Fortuna to experience a real costarican lifestyle.
Monteverde Cloud Forest	The 10526 hectare/26,000-acre Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, nestled in moisture-filled hanging clouds, provides a home to thousands of species of plants, animals, and insects.
